Fr. Ken Bartsch OFM Conv., one of the Conventual Franciscans, reflects on the tragedy in Newtown on this memorial of the Holy Innocents. He does not try to explain the event: "If you go looking for an explanation for evil, you will come up empty handed." Rather, he looks at this experience in the light of faith: "We cannot save ourselves." But with God, all things are possible.
