'Beginning in June 2012 each issue of the Southern Cross has been mailed to every registered household in the Diocese of Savannah. Reaching nearly 28,000 families in Georgia, including those who only rarely attend Mass, Southern Cross is the most broad-reaching evangelization vehicle in our diocese. As the official newspaper of the Diocese of Savannah, our mission is “to publish news of importance to the Catholic community in south Georgia.” With each issue we strive to include a variety of content that is relevant to our diverse Catholic population made up of a wide range of ages, education levels, family sizes, occupations, and parish and community sizes. Our goal is to increase the experience of unity in our Catholic faith in Georgia.'
The Southern Cross relies on Catholics paying a free will offering for their subscription. Last week, envelopes were distributed for a special drive. Please contribute so we can continue to be served by this fine Catholic publication.
